Baran is a senior associate in our Project Development and Finance, EIPAF practice. His practice concentrates on energy, infrastructure and project finance, with particular experience in the Turkish electricity market, privatizations, public-private partnerships and energy mergers and acquisitions. He has substantial experience advising commercial banks, multilateral lending agencies, export credit agencies, sponsors and developers on a range of project development and financings.

Baran is highly skilled in the drafting and negotiation of both project and financing documents. Baran is dual qualified in Türkiye and in England & Wales.
