Corporate Bond Deal of the Year and Deal of the Year - Türkiye
GKC Partners advised Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Türkiye’s leading geothermal power generator, on the Rule 144A/Reg S US$1 billion debut sustainability-linked Eurobond issuance. The notes were issued in two tranches, with US$800 million issued on October 23, 2024 and US$200 million on November 7, 2024.

Corporate Syndicated Loan of the Year
GKC Partners advised Enerjisa Üretim Santralleri A.Ş. on an up to US$1.012 billion financing that was made available by a syndicate of lenders to finance the development and construction of 750 MW wind energy power plants in the Aegean region of Türkiye under the YEKA-2 WPP scheme.

Project Finance Deal of the Year
GKC Partners advised J.P. Morgan Securities plc, as initial purchaser, on the US$405 million 7.536% secured amortizing notes issued by ICA İçtas Altyapı Yavuz Sultan Selim Köprüsü ve Kuzey Çevre Otoyolu Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. (ICA).

Local Currency Loan Deal of the Year
GKC Partners advised the lenders on the TL 17.1 billion CAPEX financing for the electricity distribution and retail companies in Uludağ Region.

ESG Bond Deal of the Year
GKC Partners advised the joint bookrunners including Emirates NBD Capital, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Bofa Securities on the debut Rule 144A/Reg S US$525 million green bond issuance by Limak Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş., comprising an initial US$450 million offering followed by a US$75 million tap issuance consolidated into a single series.

GKC Partners advised J.P. Morgan, Citibank, HSBC and Emirates NBD as joint bookrunners on the debut Rule 144A/Reg S US$350 million guaranteed sustainable notes issuance by Rönesans Holding A.Ş., a Turkish conglomerate primarily operating in the real estate and construction sectors.

GKC Partners advised Dream Games on the debt financing provided by the funds managed by various investors including Blackstone as the lead provider.

Transport Finance Deal of the Year
GKC Partners advised a consortium of international development banks and commercial lenders on the €2.5 billion refinancing and long-term project financing for the Antalya Airport concession in Türkiye. The lender consortium consisted of international development banks including IFC, AIIB, EBRD and DEG, international commercial banks including Deutsche Bank, Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece and Bank of China and Turkish banks Akbank, Vakıfbank, Ziraatbank, TEB, GarantiBBVA and QNB. The financing supports the concession for Antalya Airport awarded to Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide and TAV Havalimanları Holding A.Ş. by the Turkish State Airports Authority.

GKC Partners advised Emirates NBD Capital Limited and Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC on a US$175 million commodity Murabaha financing club facility for Yeni Mağazacılık A.Ş., a Turkish retail company operating a discount supermarket chain known as A101.
